Aditional Characters - Astrokaszi

Sam

Sam is Thornton's ward and apprentice. He travelled to Astrokaszi with Thornton, Jakari and Jackson from the Circinus Federation when they had had enough of serving in the Black Warriors. He sticks to Thornton like glue when Thornton is not off piloting his 'Mech.

Shakira

Shakira is a young girl in her mid teens who was serving as an interpreter in the service of Caliph Musa of Zinjibar. Speaking fluent Arabic, English and Greek she was useful to the Caliph in his trade dealings and as suchshe has been spared from many of the worst deprivations slavery in the Caliphates has to offer.

She was given to Jakari who freed and is now his ward rather than a slave. She and her parents were slaves for as long as Shakira could remember though they are both now dead. Jakari protects her fiercely, warning off Artemis Pyle when he suggested partaking in her pleasures by throwing Thomas Rebollar's severed head at him and letting him know the same fate awaits him should he even look at her again.



Lady Rosilina Trussel

Lady Rosilina Trussel is the daughter of Duchess Molly Trussel, ruler of the ice bound Canopian world of Thraxa. She was seduced by Conrad and convinced to flee Thraxa with him. Jackson, Thornton and Jakari Collected her from her manse a mere 60 kilometres from the Ellinikon Distribution Centre that the Blackshields raided successfully under Arturo Shirinov's temporary command.

Lady Trussel has now realized the mistake she has made and has been placed in the care of Kaja Rebane, A former M.A.F. regular to ease her fears. Jackson and Kaja are attempting to find a way to return her to Thraxa that will not result in a detrimental result for the Blackshields.
